Riley Wright
President
My name is Riley Wright, I am currently a sophomore pursuing a career in genetic counseling! I am also very interested in studying Appalachian ecology and Appalachian healthcare, as I am from Appalachian OH! On the rare occasion I’m not studying, I’m usually at sporting events, with the BCM, binging Netflix, or exercising/hiking! My intention as BUSA president is to raise awareness of, and encourage involvement with BUSA!

My name is Maddie Lapid, and I am a sophomore majoring in biology with a minor in business. I am also on the pre-med track. I love running, working out, and watching Netflix. As the secretary of BUSA, I am hoping to make an impact by growing our club and ensuring that every student majoring in or interested in biology has the opportunity to join BUSA.
Kayla Cochran

Hi! My name is Kayla Cochran, and I'm a sophomore here at the University of Kentucky. I am majoring in Biology with a minor in Spanish. I currently plan on working in the Genetics field, either as a researcher or a genetic counselor. As the Vice President of BUSA, I plan to have more organization events, such as group nature walks and starting a community garden, and opportunities for Biology majors to explore and discuss a variety of career fields with professionals.

Hi everyone! I am a senior majoring in biology on a pre-med track, and I am so excited to be BUSA's Media Chair. I know it’s a newly established organization, however, I am still thrilled to be a part of a team that will have a heavy influence on how undergraduate biology majors and minors are represented in our biology department. My goal is to help make this club run smoother and grow here at UK!
